Tour of my Lego City
Neighborhood Area
Located on the far West side of the city, the Neighborhood lies. The neighborhood is a small strip of unpaved road that 3 households sit on. The sets in this picture are the Apple, Treehouse, the Beach House, and the Log Cabin, all are Creator sets. Once you turn right by the log cabin, the next destination lies up ahead. This is just the tip of the iceberg.
Banker St.
This is Banker St, the road that cars use to go to and from the neighborhood. It's, called Banker because of the bank that is just up ahead and to the left. This street skims across the edge of the upper side of the Lego city. Not much really happens here, except the whizzing of cars going by and the footsteps of the pedestrians on the sidewalks. To the right lies a busy sidewalk that is full of people bustling by the roads. The next stop shows the intersection that some cars will use to enter the Downtown area.
Banker and Timely
Here is the next stop on our tour, Banker St. and Timely Rd. Each road gets its name for a reason. Timely was the name because it is a quick road to get down to the lower side by Downtown. It isn't a popular intersection but cars will use it for several purposes. There is also another intersection located diagonally to the upper right, which is the heart of downtown. So...this intersection is just a place that is just...there. The next stop is by the green road but on another unpaved road.
East Side
Here is East side. This is the main spot that cars use to transfer between different roads. This is one of the most popular spots that cars go through. Just behind this, is the fire station and the airport, and to the right is the police station. Other than then high usage of cars, this blank area doesn't really serve that much of a purpose. Part of this area is seen in the picture above here. It's a fair sized area with a bunch of unpaved roads. The next stop is the road to the left of the picture.
Longwalk Ave.
This road is Longwalk Avenue. This road definitely got its name for a good reason. This is the longest road in the city and it runs from the outskirts of Lego City to the middle of Downtown. Plus, it'd be a long walk to get to the two ends of the street. The funny thing about it, however, is that you can turn right from Longwalk Avenue, and turn onto Longwalk Ave! There is a special design that you will see towards the end that enable it to do such things. This is also the road that ALL cars have to use to get into the city, so it is never empty, for sure. This is definitely a very busy road. The next picture is just an overview of this street.
Longwalk Ave. Continued
This is an overview of Longwalk Avenue, and as you can see, it is obviously extremely busy and full of traffic. You can see the large amounts of pedestrians cramming the sidewalks on both ends. Located just behind this road on the far end, is the neighborhood, on the far west side. This is obviously a very large. The next stop are some spots where passerby often wonder.
Corner Store
Here is the somewhat popular, Corner Store. This place is basically a concession stand where you can purchase drinks, buy and mail postcards, ad a bunch of other good stuff. This spot is located on the far corner of Longwalk Avenue, and just in front of the neighborhood. People don't normally stop here, they just pass by here trying to go to other places. Therefore, is is not the most busy pedestrian stop in the coty, but it is still always a fun place to visit!
Bus Stop
Here is where the bus will come to pick up any passengers that need to be transported by bus. This spot is the most busy place, due to bus passengers, passerby, and other things. Lots of people pass by here every day. In this picture, there are about 10 mini figures hovering around this particular area. Just behind the criminal is the BBQ stand. There is where you can get food while on the go, with no hassle, just like any other sidewalk stand. You can see the bus in the background, just leaving the stop. The next stop on this tour will be an overview of the real East Side.
The REAL East Side
Here is the authentic East Side of lego city. Here is where the fire and police station is located, and the really small airport. The small road beginning is the start of Longwalk Avenue. This place is where all of the big building structures are out up. Everywhere else in the city it is just small buildings or big buildings as in tall. The police station recently underwent construction on the garages, since they were torn to bits during Lego Zombie Infection 3. As well did the fire station and the blue helicopter in the back of the picture. That's pretty much it. The next stop is just by the front of the fire station entrance.
Fire Station & Toy Store
Here is a recently built in section of Lego City, the fire station/ toy store entrance. Just behind the toy store is the entrance to the fire station. The reason the building is blocking is is because the other vacant space would block a whole road section! So this is where it had to go. The far East side of lego City. Very few passerby come through this area, 1 because it is new, and 2 because there are better places to be. It is very scenic however! The next place on the tour is the police station.
Police Station
Welcome to the super-duper police station! Well...you kind of know how a police station works. Somebody is naughty, police catch him, bring him in, throws him in the slammer without a trial (in my city, no we ain't bullies!) So that's pretty much a police station. This is the 2nd version of the station, and my brother has the 3rd. So yeah, that is really all I have to say, other than it is located on the Upper east side of Lego City. The next stop is, shocker, the fire station!
Fire Station
Here is our city's fire station. The rest isn't in the picture because the toy store was blocking it. There isn't really anything interesting about it, other than I dropped it one day and completely obliterated it going up the stairs and had to redo it again from scratch. Oh yeah, and the helicopter on top of the station is custom made, not in the set. My friend gave it to me. Oh wait just a minute, is that...a RECYCLING BIN?!?! Wow I cannot believe it. The happiest day of my life ever! OK that probably took up a few lines. I don't really care for recycling bins anyway, but I am getting off topic. Our next stop is the wonderfully small airport.
